M.I.T.A.I.L. - MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATIONS LABORATORY

MITAIL is a unique laboratory for research and development of new musical instruments, technology related to musical instruments development and fabrication, music production and music.

Through MITAIL, which is based in Almocageme, Portugal, we not only develop and optimize the Pangeia Instrumentos design, but we also prepare new ways of sharing the knowledge and techniches developed through workshops for children, young musicians and adults in schools, community centers or universities.

MITAIL has establised colaborations with London Metropolitan University, Loughborogh University, Rapid Prototyping Consortium, Arts NK and more recently has been commissioned by The National Museums of Scotland to produce a project for their new Resounding World Gallery.
